Let's Paint The Town!!!...


"Let's Paint The Town!!!", an invitation by Lorraine Vatcher, member of the Artisans On Main project.

As one of the many Culture Days events next weekend Lorraine is inviting anyone and everyone who can, to come spend some time with her at the Montague Marina on Friday September 28th.

She will answer your questions about painting or share the painting experience if you are so inclined.

Just hanging out by the water with Lorraine in the Town of Montague can be a very calming and stress reliving experience especially if it happens to be a beautiful Fall day.

To assume is said to make an a - - out of u and me. While this is true in most cases, being assumptive in selling is an entirely different scenario. I often use the assumptive close with art buyers. I assume they want to own my art when we begin the conversation. The moment the prospect shows real interest, I just assume they would like to take that piece home with them. My next step is to assist them in making their desire a reality. Because of my assumption that they want to own the art, I treat them differently. I don’t sell; I help the client acquire what they want. [...]

Artist's Bench Auction Underway

With the appearance on "Compass" of the Artisans On Main on Friday evening the Artist's Bench Auction is underway.


Nancy Perkins and Boomer Gallant spend a moment chatting about "Molly the Mermaid". The auction on this 18th century church pew is accepting bids. Opening bid $275.00 it would make a wonderful addition to your home, sun-room or cottage.
